University of Redlands to Host Local High School Choral Programs

The University of Redlands School of Music is proud to present its second invitational Chamber Choir Festival at 1:30 p.m. on February 25  in the Memorial Chapel.

This year’s festival will bring over 200 singers from Redlands East Valley High School, Redlands High School, Citrus Valley High School, Cathedral City High School, Upland High School and Mount Carmel High School to the University.

Under the leadership of Nicholle Andrews, Director of Choral Studies, and Jean-Sébastien Vallée, Professor of Choral Studies, the second edition of this festival will give the six high school ensembles a unique opportunity to workshop with the University of Redlands choral and voice faculty.

In addition, students will enjoy a private recording session in the Memorial Chapel with professional sound engineer Brad Andrews.

The day will conclude with a concert featuring each of the invited choirs as well as two mass choir pieces. The final concert is open to the public and will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel.
