Gary Byrne '64

The University of Redlands Development Office and Town & Gown will host a reception at 5 p.m., Feb. 2 in the Casa Loma Room at the University for the campus and local communities to hear Gary Byrne ’65 discuss his book, “Seven Paths to Poverty: Finding Financial Stability in an Unstable World.”

Byrne will present on the key points found in the book. Copies will be available for purchase and autograph. Proceeds from the book are being given to the University of Redlands.

Seven Paths will change the way its readers think about money. It’s a modern handbook on the workings of the marketing world and the human brain, and how the former exploits the latter to keep consumers in debt and under pressure to spend without thinking.

For more information, or to make a reservation, contact Rosa Macias at 909-748-8351 or e-mail her at The first 50 Redlands students to RSVP will receive a free copy of the book at the reception.
