Redlands Forum - Sustainable Conservation

Redlands Forum speaker Seligmann
Conservation International CEO Peter Seligmann will present “The Path to Sustainable Conservation” at the Redlands Forum, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 11 in the Esri Conference Center.

Seligmann, who co-founded Conservation International in 1987, has a vision for an environmentally healthy world that will provide economic opportunities and security for all people. His mission is to bring together industry, government, religious leaders, professors, scientists and local and indigenous people to make his vision a reality.

Known as an inspiring and dynamic environmental entrepreneur who easily clarifies issues for protecting nature and its gifts, Seligmann will describe how understanding impacts on the Earth’s environments and Earth-friendly practices can shape our future.

Seligmann holds a master’s degree from Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Science, and an honorary doctorate in science from Michigan State University.
