The Yellow Ribbon Program can reduce higher education costs for veterans.
If you’re a veteran of the U.S. military with three years of active duty that began after 9/11, the new Yellow Ribbon Program can reduce your higher education costs.
The Yellow Ribbon Program features dollar-for-dollar matching between universities and the federal government in order to give veterans more education options, including private liberal arts colleges.
For example, as an official Yellow Ribbon Program Partner designated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the University of Redlands awards qualifying student veterans up to $5,000 per year to help offset tuition expenses, or the cost of books and other educational supplies. And that makes the Yellow Ribbon Program a golden opportunity for veterans.
