How Chris Concepcion '07 feels about the endless opportunities at Redlands.

Transcript of the video interview:

"This day's looking pretty busy. I was just appointed as the ASUR vice president, which is the student body vice president. I'm also the president of my brotherhood now. So meetings, meetings, meetings! I have so many meetings to go to, but I really enjoy doing it.

"[Re: Redlands] I love it. And every time that I say that, people think, 'Oh, he's just saying that.' I really, I'm really happy with my decision. I don't feel like if I went to a big school, I would be able to perform, have so many performance opportunities, have two majors, be so incredibly involved in stuff, and keep my sanity at the same time.

"It's just been amazing, and the resources are endless here. The connections are endless here. It's just been an amazing experience, and I keep repeating myself, but I just don't know how else to describe this very huge great experience.

"I'm hoping to go to grad school for public administration or civil rights law, but who knows. I mean, after being here for two years, I may decided that I want to do opera performance, or something else. But as of right now, I'm looking at Harvard's JFK School of Government right now.

"I just think the opportunities are endless here."

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
