Freeway Flying Artists at Redlands

"Freeway Flyers," a presentation of works of art by Redlands Art Department adjunct faculty, is on display at the university's Peppers Art Gallery through Feb. 1.

The work displayed ranges from high-contrast black and white to full color, photography to woodworking. The show features artwork by Andy Clift, Peter Drinkwine, Ana Gaitan Gene Jimenez Terry Long, Tracy Massimiano, Mark Nelson and Jeff Wilson.

Ryan Sweet, an alumnus of the Art Department, described "a small, intimate show that provided a look into the lives of our adjunct art faculty. As a whole, the presentation of the artwork took you across the world to distant countries, yet still managed to remind you of your own back yard."

The work is on display at the Peppers Art Gallery at the University of Redlands from 1 p.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and 2 p.m.-5 p.m. , Saturday and Sunday.
