New Investment Scholarship Deadline Extended

Prospective School of Business students have an extra incentive to start 2010 off by applying for admission.

Adult students who enroll in the school by November 30 will have the tuition of their last class paid for them. The incentive is a benefit of the New Investment Scholarship and is open to adults who apply and begin classes by the June deadline.

The goal of the university-funded program is to encourage students to remain in school and making steady progress toward a degree.

“The premise behind this scholarship is simple,” said Nancy Svenson, Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management. “You invest in yourself and stay enrolled until you complete the program, and we’ll invest in you by paying for your last class. It’s one way that we show that we believe in our students and their success.”

Students who withdraw from school during the year are not eligible for the scholarship, unless a reinstatement to the scholarship program is granted.

Applying to the School of Business is designed to be simple. The school offers multiple enrollment periods throughout the year. Applications can be filled out online and staff are available to answer questions, order transcripts, and help students put together their application files.

Courses are designed for working adults and are offered at one of eight Southern California campuses. Programs emphasize critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication and collaboration in a global arena.
