Renee Azenaro: Metropolis: Prospects & Observations

Enjoy the work of Professor of Art Renee Azenaro at the University of Redlands as a part of Metropolis: Prospects & Observations at the BRAND Library Art Galleries in Glendale.

According to the Library homepage, the works on view in Metropolis: Prospects & Observations explore the experience and substance of the modern metropolis through the eyes of five artists working in a variety of media.

Azenaro’s work represents the experience of navigating through the world around us. Her installations and sculptures on display have been constructed with steel wire to convey both strength and fragility.

Azenaro’s work and the work of four other artists will continue to be showcased at the Glendale Public Library through Friday, Dec. 11.

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
