Delta Kappa Psi Celebrates 100 Years
As May approaches, alumnae of all ages will return to campus for the 100th anniversary of Redlands’ first sorority on campus Delta Kappa Psi. Founded in 1910, the organization has continued to stand for true and broadminded womanhood and for loyalty to its members and its ideal for 100 years.
From May 1-2 alumnae will enjoy a weekend full of festivities that will allow them to reconnect with old friends and reflect on their memories of Greek life at Redlands.
The events, which will honor the traditions and history of the organization, include a birthday luncheon, a garden party, reminiscent of many historic Delta Garden Parties held over the years, and an opportunity for members to introduce their families to each other at the Delta family picnic.
“As President of the Alumni Executive Council of Delta Kappa Psi, I have the honor of playing a key role in the planning of this momentous occasion, with the support of many dedicated volunteers. With over 400 Deltas registered for the weekend, I know it will be a celebration to be remembered and will set a standard for Greek centennial celebrations to come,” said Lori Hatfield.
Member’s cost for the luncheon and garden party is $50 per person and the picnic is $15. For more information and to RSVP visit Delta Kappa Psi’s official web site.
