University of Redlands Community School of Music and the Arts Announces
Musikgarten Music Classes for Ages 3-5

The University of Redlands Community School of Music and the Arts is offering a Musikgarten music program for children ages 3-5 called the “Cycle of Seasons.”

Classes for the fall term will begin on Sept. 4 and conclude Dec.15.

Muskigarten is the most pedagogically sound early childhood program, which transitions children into piano lessons.

The classes will be taught by Christine Price, who has been certified by the Musikgarten Organization. Price also teaches the Suzuki piano method through the Community School of Music and the Arts at the University of Redlands.

The “Cycle of Seasons” program is designed around activities that focus on the four seasons-- activities that aim to develop language skills through musical participation and dramatic play, as well as to foster independence and group participation.

The 45-minute classes are held once per week at the University of Redlands. Classes are available on:

• Thursdays at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. and

 • Fridays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m.

The registration deadline for the first day of classes is Friday, August 28, and tuition for the 15-week term is $225. For more information, contact the University of Redlands Community School of Music and the Arts at 909-748-8844.
