The Fabulous Faculty Art Show

On Wednesday, Sept. 16 the University of Redlands art department faculty will be featured in the first art gallery show of the 2009-10 school year.

The Faculty Art Show is an annual event organized to showcase the impressive work and projects of the art department staff.

This event, which can be enjoyed in Peppers Art Gallery from Sept. 15-Oct. 2, will showcase faculty art projects that have been completed over the course of the last year. Art enthusiasts will be able to appreciate a variety of art forms, ranging from photography and painting to mixed media and ceramic sculptures.

Professors Raul Acero, Penny McElroy, Ben Bridges, Renee Azenaro, Jeff Wilson, Terry Long, Gene Jimenez, Anna Gaitan, Tracey Massimiano and the art department’s newest faculty member, Tommy Cahill, will be featured.

Enjoy refreshments and mingle with the artists at the opening reception this Wednesday, Sept. 16 from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. Click here for more information.

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
