Men's Water Polo Stays at No. 13 Ranking

For the third week in a row, the University of Redlands men's water polo team ranked 13th in the Varsity Top 20 poll, according to a release this morning by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA).

Redlands also received a unanimous No. 1 ranking in the CWPA's Division III poll, and no other Division III institution cracked the Varsity Top 20. Notably, Johns Hopkins University (MD) received votes.

On Nov. 5, the Bulldogs downed Whittier College in their home finale by a 15-5 final. Competing in its final regular-season game, the team traveled to Claremont on Saturday and defeated Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges 15-12.

Redlands (24-7, 7-0 SCIAC) squares off against Caltech on Friday at 1 p.m. in the first round of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Championship Tournament in Thousand Oaks. Depending on the outcome of the first game, the Bulldogs will play at various times on Saturday and Sunday as well.
