All in the Timing

“All in the Timing” is not only the latest play to be produced on campus, but also the senior capstone work of two theatre majors.

Olivia Spirz '14, Isaak Berliner '14, Gina Chapman '14 and Willie Michiels '15 are the four student directors responsible for bringing David Ives’ play to life. “All In the Timing” features eight separate comedic plays, with each set running about 10 to 20 minutes long.

"The pieces are really quirky and fun," Spirz said. "We've had a great time making it all work. It's all been a wonderful - if not very busy - experience that I'm really glad I got to have before graduating."

Senior productions have been a longstanding tradition in the theatre department to showcase and highlight the hard work students have put into their capstone projects.

"I love working on senior shows," Michiels said. "You really get to see everyone's unique style and it's always a blast. It's been great working to put it all together and we've all gotten very close in order to create a fun end product."

“All in the Timing” will run in the Frederick Loewe Theater on April 10 through 12 at 8 p.m. and 2 p.m. on April 13. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $8 for students and senior citizens.
