New Year, New Name

South Coast Metro

The University of Redlands regional location in Santa Ana is undergoing an official name change effective Jan. 6, 2014. It will now be known as the South Coast Metro location.

“South Coast Metro more accurately describes the dynamic business/culture/entertainment area where our campus is located,” Nancy Svenson, associate vice president with the School of Business, said.

The University has been in Hutton Center for more than 15 years, with the location housing the School of Business, School of Education and School of Continuing Studies programs. This 10,392-square-foot facility was remodeled in 2011, and includes six technology-enabled “smart” classrooms, a computer lab, a conference room, a seminar room and offices.

This name change does not affect the current enrollment of any students.
