Thanksgiving Break 2013

The Thanksgiving break for University of Redlands begins Nov. 27 for students. Residence halls will remain open during the break and classes will resume on Dec. 2.

The holiday break for faculty begins on Nov. 27 while staff and administrators observe it from Nov. 28 through Dec. 1.

All departments and services will remain open on Nov. 27 but will be closed Nov. 28 through Dec. 1 with the exception of the following:

  • Armacost Library–open 5 p.m. to midnight Dec. 1
  • Public Safety–remains open

Food service operations from Bon Appetit in the Plaza Café and Market, Irvine Commons, University Club and the Bulldog Café will remain closed starting at 10 p.m. Nov. 26 through Dec. 1 with the exception of the following:

  • Irvine Commons–open 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1
  • Plaza Café and Market–open 2 p.m. to midnight Dec. 1
  • Bulldog Café–closed
  • University Club–closed

Public Safety will run shuttles to the Ontario Airport every hour from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 27. Return shuttles will run from noon to 10 p.m. Dec 1. Students must sign up at the Public Safety Office by 5 p.m. Nov. 27, and arrive in front of the Memorial Chapel steps 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. There will be no Bulldog Bites published on the Thanksgiving holiday, Nov. 28.
