University of Redlands Training Chorus and Youth Choir Fall Concert

The event is free and open to the public

REDLANDS, Nov. 7, 2013 – The University of Redlands Youth Choir will present its fall concert on Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. at the University of Redlands Memorial Chapel.

The choirs will perform a variety of pieces and the concert promises to be a wonderful presentation of children’s choral music under the direction of University of Redlands Choral Scholars and Faculty.

The mission of the University of Redlands Youth Choir is to provide an environment for young people from surrounding communities to come together and learn important skills under the direction of Redlands faculty.

The Youth Choir program teaches music literacy, self-discipline, teamwork, respect for fellow singers and faculty and provides all students the opportunity to learn and grow in a positive, engaging and safe environment. The Training Chorus is a choir for children ages 5-8 and the Youth Choir is for children ages 9-16.
