PAH-FEST State Competition
"Team Thurber the Bulldog" has been invited by Hollywood filmmaker, activist and Redlands alum Christopher Coppola to participate in the California PAH-FEST (Project Accessible Hollywood) after its success in PAH-FEST Alma Mater 2013.
The team of School of Music students-Carlie Kozlowich '14, Hannah Lim '14 and Kyle Hnedak '14-received awards for their film submission in September's PAH-FEST Alma Mater 2013. University of Redlands students received recognition in five of the competition's six categories-two of which were personally selected by Coppola.
For the statewide competition, students were charged to submit films themed "A Mutual Gift of Beauty," with focus on culture, the beauty of California, its landscape and the wisdom of its people.
The students' films can be viewed on the pahfest.org site and the winners of this competition will be determined by online voting which is to commence Friday, Nov. 8. Winners will be announced via live webcast from San Francisco on the evening of Saturday, Nov. 9.
Support and voting for Team Thurber the Bulldog is encouraged. Supporters are also welcome to attend the screening of the team's film at the Academy of Motion Pictures, Linwood Dunn Theatre at 1313 N. Vine Street in Hollywood, Calif. at noon Saturday, Nov. 9.
