Celebrate the 125th anniversary of the city of Redlands by taking part in the original musical “Redlands, My Redlands.”

The musical’s organizers are looking for performers ages eight and up as well as technicians, artists and designers. Auditions will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Joslyn Senior Center, 21 Grant St., Redlands. Those wishing to perform are asked to prepare 16 bars of an upbeat song from a Broadway musical, and come dressed in clothes appropriate for dancing. An accompanist will be provided.

Anyone interested in taking a behind the scenes role can come to the auditions and fill out an information sheet.

“Redlands, My Redlands” will be presented on Nov. 15 and 16 at the University of Redlands Memorial Chapel. The musical is sponsored by the city’s 125th anniversary committee and the Redlands Area Interfaith Council.
