Bulldog Football Alumni Day

On August 24, former players will get an insider’s look at the upcoming season during the sixth annual Bulldog Football Alumni Day.

“This is open to past football players and their families,” Amber De Massimo, assistant director of Alumni Relations, said. “This is done every year for this core group of people.”

“This event wonderfully links coaches, alumni and senior student athletes in meaningful ways,” Ray Watts, associate vice president of Development, said. “I am looking forward to it.”

The day begins with a continental breakfast with athletic staff and coaches in the Casa Loma Room. At 9 a.m., Coach Mike Maynard will give a Chalk Talk, and at 10, the alums will get a first look at this year’s team during morning practice. At 11:45, a barbecue lunch will be served and coaches and senior players will be on hand to talk about the program, future games, and more.

“This is an opportunity for our football alums to show their support for the 2013 Bulldog football team in a meaningful, personal way,” Maynard said. “Further, players from all teams can connect, reunite, and have some fun as Bulldog brothers again.”

Between 75 and 100 people are expected to attend Bulldog Football Alumni Day, which costs $20 per person. To register, click here.
