The University of Redlands School of Music Presents Mefistofele Excerpts & Suor Angelica

REDLANDS, March 13, 2013– The University of Redlands presents a double bill featuring excerpts from Arrigo Boito’s Faustian work for the lyric theater, Mefistofele, and a performance of Giacomo Puccini’s heart- breaking one act opera Suor Angelica. A conceptual triptych of very different women will be presented in this site-specific production that will explore damnation and salvation.

Performances will be presented at Memorial Chapel at the University of Redlands, April 11th and 12th at 8:00 p.m. This production is in Italian with English supertitles.
