University of Redlands Symphonic Band Performance

REDLANDS, Oct. 4, 2012-The University of Redlands Symphonic Band, under the direction of Dr. David Scott, can be heard in performance Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel. The program will include Sousa’s King Cotton, Pineapple Poll based on the music of Arthur Sullivan, Toccata Marziale by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Frank Ticheli’s Blue Shades, a beautiful arrangement of Debussy’s Pavane for Band, and Alfred Reed’s Prelude and Capriccio. The concert features guest conductor Jeffrey Osarzcuk.
