Krista-Nicole Bishop ran her company, Business of Influence for a few years before enrolling in the MBA program to take her to the next level. She chose Redlands for its reputation, high ranking in U.S. News and World Report, and study abroad opportunities. “I found exactly what I was looking for in the University of Redlands MBA program,” she said. “I have actually gained more knowledge and experience than I ever anticipated.”

The MBA program challenged Bishop to adapt a holistic approach to business. “My professors and cohorts challenged me to look at situations from every point of view and to evaluate all the possibilities to achieve the optimal solution,” she said.

Bishop also took every opportunity to get the most from her education. She was student leader for the study abroad trip to Cambridge. She was also inducted into the Whitehead Leadership Society, an experience that now has her mentoring others as a leader giving back to the community.

“The overall memories that I will always appreciate about Redlands are the closeness of the MBA cohorts, the eager-to-help administration, and the caring professors,” she said. “I know that I will have a relationship with many of these people for the rest of my life. It is a true blessing to have professors that guide you through your journey and genuinely want to see you succeed.”
