REDLANDS: Hundreds receive university degrees
Ricardo Luis Anza’s family cheered when his name was announced and he stepped onto the University of Redlands Greek Amphitheater stage to receive his bachelor’s degree in Spanish.

To thunderous applause, Appleton, who is retiring, said, "What a wonderful year this has been. I would not have expected to celebrate this day with you. But Carol and I have relished every moment of our return and the privilege of serving as your president. We salute you, Class of 2012!

The University of Redlands School of Education bid adieu to 272 graduates on Thursday evening at the campus Greek Theatre.
The Sustainable University of Redlands Farm (SURF) is a natural farm in its beginning stages, but already grows and sells fresh vegetables to Bon Appetit, the food management company on campus.
