Children’s Literature Festival draws top industry names

Authors, illustrators and other experts will be featured in more than 25 workshops designed for professionals in the field.

Feb. 20, 2012—Nationally recognized children’s authors, illustrators and literature experts will discuss their trade at the 16th annual Charlotte S. Huck Children’s Literature Festival, a two-day conference designed for professionals who write, illustrate or work with books for children.

Authors, illustrators, librarians, teachers and others whose work focuses on books for children are encouraged to attend more than 25 workshops, presentations and question/answer sessions that focus on a variety of topics ranging from poetry and story structure, to sparking creativity and addressing difficult social topics.
