About 300 Bulldogs and Buffalos came together Wednesday night at a University-wide open forum to discuss the history-making, unpredicted outcome of the United States presidential election and the uncertainties of what will happen next.

In a safe and respectful space at Orton Center, students had the opportunity to share their fears, frustrations, hopes and messages of empowerment deeply rooted in social justice. Students encouraged each other to listen, show respect, be compassionate, and get involved.

Provost Kathy Ogren and Chaplain John Walsh encouraged the campus community to keep listening to each other and continue the respectful conversations.
