The play is an interpretation of the classic text from the Italian Commedia del'arte by Carlo Goldoni. This classic will delight and entertain audiences with virtuosic performances, witty dialogue, mistaken identity, period costumes and energetic physical comedy. All-time favorite stock characters will be there: lovers and clowns, Pantalone and Truffaldino, trickstering and swooning, getting into a tight spot and then out again.
This interpretation will be directed by John Achorn with scenic Design by Megan Carava, costume design by Nephelie Andonyadis and lighting design by Stacy McKenney.
