MSGIS graduates receive diplomas

Fourteen students in the Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems (MSGIS) program received their diplomas at a ceremony Dec. 7, 2016 in the Orton Center at the University of Redlands. The group made up the 29th cohort of the program, which started in January 2002.

Through their individual projects, the students performed more than 500 hours of work to help the university's faculty and local nonprofits with  GIS technology. Projects ranged from finding better locations for Feed America to serve its clients to helping a POW-MIA agency account for missing airmen in New Guinea.
