We encourage you to learn more about the School of Music programs by visiting our campus and meeting with faculty members and students prior to applying for admission. Application for admission to the School of Music begins with your application to the University of Redlands. Students interested in music talent scholarships and/or academic achievement awards are encouraged to apply by the Phase 1 deadline on Dec. 15.

Auditions are required of all School of Music students who are planning to major or minor in music. Non-major ensemble participants do not need to audition prior to enrolling.

You will need to contact the Assistant Director of Music Admissions to schedule an audition on one of our audition days. If you cannot attend one of these days and/or you live more than 200 miles away, we will accept a CD.
