Redlands alumnus speaks during American Futures event in Washington D.C.

Rep. Pete Aguilar ’01 (D-CA31) will be on a discussion panel during the live streamed event. 

American Futures 2016—the discussion on the resilience of American cities based on the remarkable ability of citizens to reinvent their local economies to meet changing market realities—continues May 12, 2016 in Washington, D.C. 

Moderated by James Fallows—Atlantic national correspondent and University of Redlands Distinguished Fellow who authored The Atlantic cover story, “How America is Putting Itself Back Together”—the discussion will feature Redlands alumnus Rep. Pete Aguilar ‘01 (D-CA31) and other Congressional panelists. 

Redlands Political Science Professor Greg Thorson and his May Term class, along with other alumni in the Washington, D.C. area, will participate. 

The program will stream live and is a part of James and Deborah Fallows’ ongoing American Futures project.
