The Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP) was established in the 1800’s to provide free public access to information produced by the United States Government. In 1933, the University of Redlands became a Federal Depository Library for California’s 41st Congressional District. Today, this collection of historic and current government documents includes over 200 periodicals and many other publications. The Depository Program provides local users with government information in all formats and serves as one of the links between "We the People" and the federal government. Any member of the public may visit a Depository Library.
