New Web Director

Anthony Fisher

Anthony Fisher has joined the University as Director of Web Strategy and New Media. Anthony, who began his appointment Oct. 7, brings to the position 17 years of experience in Web development and design, training and teaching, and instructional design. He has worked in higher education for more than 12 years, most recently serving as director of interactive design and new media production for Claremont McKenna College.

"Anthony brings the University much-needed experience in Web branding, user-experience design, and information architecture," said Kimberli Munkres, associate vice president of marketing and strategic communications. "His broad knowledge of branding and digital storytelling will play a vital role in fulfilling our website and online communications mission."

Anthony will be responsible for the oversight and execution of the University’s online marketing and interactive programs and vehicles as a member of the Marketing and Strategic Communications team. He will lead development efforts for the next generation of www.Redlands.edu and work closely with IT to identify and implement a new content management system.

He earned his bachelor of arts degree in graphic design from Azusa Pacific University in 1996 and his master’s in educational technology from APU in 1999.
