University of Redlands School of Music to host free recital

REDLANDS, March 13, 2013–The University of Redlands will host a free Woodwind Chamber Music Recital, under the direction of Kathryn Nevin, at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 in the Frederick Loewe Performance Hall. This is a "potpourri" recital featuring students in a wind trio, the flute choir, two wind quintets, and a saxophone quartet. Each ensemble will perform a work. Music to be performed will include pieces by Malcom Arnold, De Boismortier, and John Harbison. The concert is free and open to the public.
