Organist Ken Cowan in Concert

The University of Redlands School of Music will host its third organ concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 27 in this season’s series of recitals celebrating the additions made to the Memorial Chapel Casavant organ in the summer of 2012.

The concert will feature one of North America's finest organists, Ken Cowan, who has been praised for his dazzling artistry, impeccable technique and imaginative programming by audiences and critics alike.

Cowan is associate professor of organ and head of the organ program at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University in Houston, Texas and maintains a rigorous performing and recording schedule which takes him to major concert venues throughout America, Canada, Europe and Asia.

This program is sponsored by the Inland Empire Chapter of The American Guild of Organists.
