Silent Movie Night

Silent movie: "The Kid Brother"accompanied by organist Robert Salisbury

Cost: This event is free and open to the public.

The University of Redlands' School of Music presents organist Robert "Bob" Salisbury and the Casavant Opus 1230 organ accompanying the feature of the 1927 silent film "The Kid Brother". Today "The Kid Brother" is considered by critics and fans to be one of Harold Lloyd's best films and his personal favorite. Bob Salisbury is the former house organist for the Avalon Theatre in the Casino on Santa Catalina Island and the Orpheum's original 1927 Wurlitzer Theatre.

The movie will be shown at the University of Redlands' historic Memorial Chapel, which was coincidentally completed in 1927, the same year the film was released.
