Redlands Reads Out

The Armacost Library marked Banned Books Week 2011 with a "Read-Out" at the Hunsaker Plaza Sept. 27 and 29. The event was coordinated by the library, Campus Diversity & Inclusion, and Sigma Tau Delta.

Library administrators and students read from challenged titles including "Bless Me, Ultima", "And Tango Makes Three" and "Slaughterhouse-Five."

Sponsored by the American Library Association, the Banned Books Week invites participation from readers around the globe to join others in commending the virtues of and reading excerpts from their favorite banned or challenged books.
