Esri User Conference

GIS at Redlands

Faculty, students and researchers of the University of Redlands and the Redlands Institute are participating this week in the Esri International User Conference, “Understanding Our World,” at the San Diego Convention Center.

The University is part of the conference’s Academic GIS Program Fair, and contributing to many of the seminars, presentations and discussions on topics including:

  • Geo-Design
  • Geo-Design and spatial support
  • GIS in teacher education
  • Land use quantification
  • Using GIS to identify and evaluate health coverage
  • GIS for crime analysis
  • GIS for renewable energy development
  • GIS for vegetation and ecosystem analysis in parks and natural reserves
