Application of Functional Business Knowledge

1)      Students in the MBA program critically apply functional business knowledge from disciplines such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, information systems, operations management, and global business to solve business problems.

Communication, Leadership and Teamwork Skills

2)      MBA graduates effectively communicate through written and oral expression.

3)      MBA graduates effectively prepare to exercise leadership through collaboration in teams.

Multi Level Perspective

4)      MBA graduates skillfully analyze business problems from different perspectives such as functional departments, business units, industry, national or global economy. 

Ethical Reasoning

5)      MBA Graduates analyze and evaluate ethical implications when solving business problems.

 

 

 

Master of Arts in Management

 

MA in Management graduates:

Personal Skills

1)      Set their own goals for improvement in their self-awareness (knowing one's internal states, preferences, resources, and intuitions) as evaluated by the graduates’ managers, peers, direct reports and self assessments and a decrease in the differences between the graduates’ self evaluations and those of others.

2)      Set their own goals for improvement in their self-management skills (managing ones' internal states, impulses, and resources) as evaluated by the graduates’ managers, peers, direct reports and self assessments.

People Management Skills

3)      Set their own goals for improvement in social awareness (awareness of others feelings, needs, and concerns) as evaluated by the graduates’ managers, peers, direct reports and self assessments.

4)      Set their own goals for improvement social skills (adeptness at inducing desirable responses in others) as evaluated by the graduates’ managers, peers, direct reports and self assessments.

Management Knowledge

5)      Use their knowledge in ten management disciplines to assess management issues in target organizations and make convincing recommendations based on the application of theory to practice.

Analytic Skills

6)      Recognize and solve ethical problems.

7)      Identify and synthesize critical features of an issue or set of issues and write a well-defined, specific, and insightful statement that incorporates evidence in a reasonable and persuasive manner.

8)      Make effective oral presentations.

Career Specific Skills
