Welcome New Spring Students!

Bulldog Mascot

It is a pleasure for us to extend a word of welcome to you on behalf of everyone at the University. All of us are committed to making this one of the best experiences of your life. We urge you to make the most of the opportunities Redlands will offer you.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at our mandatory New Student Orientation. During this one day orientation, you will be able to meet other new incoming students, speak with an advisor, and register for classes. You will also have the opportunity to connect with faculty, administrators, and staff, and learn about the many resources available for student success. As you enter in mid-year we want to assure you that there are many opportunities to immerse yourself in our campus community. A more detailed schedule for new student orientation will be forthcoming. Our spring semester begins on Monday, January 11, 2016. To register for the event please click here.

All new students are required to submit important documents before the start of the semester. Please review the New Spring Student Checklist to see what items are required for submission. In addition, every student will be required to log in to the MyRedlands student portal and submit a Housing and Meal Plan Intention form. If you choose to live off campus, you must still complete the housing application and fill out the off campus petition. Other important items to complete will be found on the checklist. It is important that you return the required forms as quickly as possible so that your Spring registration is not delayed.

Redlands provides a unique opportunity for you to develop a lifelong passion for learning. Many of you will contribute your time and talent by being involved in fine arts, community service, organizations, athletics, and many other important activities in addition to your academic work. We welcome you to University of Redlands. We are glad you are becoming a “Bulldog for Life.”
