Charlotte S. Huck Children's Literature Festival

Save the dates: March 4 & 5, 2011

for the 15th Annual

Children’s Literature Festival 2010 is a now glorious memory of an exciting weekend filled with the best of children’s books and their creators.  Planning for the Children’s Literature Festival 2011 is well under way.
Why do people come—and keep coming back? In the words of past participants, it is “a small, intimate conference where you can spend time with the authors and illustrators.” “Unrushed.” “A unique opportunity to spend time with others who share a passion about children’s books and their creators.”   Each year, the festival brings together educators, students, illustrators, authors, librarians, editors, and all those interested in children’s literatures.

Debra Frasier, Dennis Fradin, Judy Fradin and Paul Janeczko are just some of the authors and illustrators who will be featured ion March 4 & 5, 2011. Keep checking for the rest of the list. Meanwhile, do you recognize the faces below? They were all featured guests at past festival.

"I believe that if you present the right books to children, they will read and enjoy them. So, bringing children and books together really means getting them excited about reading." - Charlotte Huck
