School of Education Important Dates

We recommend you complete your application file by the following deadlines in order to secure an admissions decision prior to your program orientation date. We will continue to accept applications and application pieces after the deadlines; however, on occasion, late applicants have encountered delays with financial aid information and course preparation materials. Additionally, we cannot guarantee that we will have available seats in the start term you are interested in.

Single/Multiple Subject Teaching Credentials (PTC)

Our teaching credentials are available in single and multiple subject as well as special education. They begin on the following dates: (Each course is 5 weeks):

2014 FALL
Application deadline - June 20, 2014
Check-in & Orientation - July 9, 2014 
Classes Begin - July 21, 2014

Education Specialist Teaching Credential (EDSP)

2014 SPRING
Interviews – April 14-25, 2014 
Check-in and Orientation – May 28, 2014
Classes Begin – June 2, 2014

Master of Arts Degree and Service Credential Programs

The Master of Arts in Education degrees and the certificates in PPS, Tier I and Tier II begin on the following dates: (Each term is 12 weeks).
