The University of Redlands has been designated by the Veterans Administration as one of the qualified institutions where Veterans or their eligible dependents may attend and receive benefits under the following U.S. Codes:
University of Redlands Graduate and Professional Education (School of Business, School of Education, and School of Continuing Studies) honors our active duty military and spouses with a $250 per-unit discounted tuition rate. This discount is in line with the military's per-unit reimbursement amount. Ask your campus staff for more details.
The University of Redlands limits academic residency to no more than twenty-five percent of the degree requirements for all undergraduate degrees for active-duty servicemembers. Academic residency can be completed at any time while active-duty servicemembers are enrolled. Reservists and National Guardsmen on active-duty are covered in the same manner.
The GI Bill® provides financial support for education and housing to individuals who qualify and is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at https://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
The Yellow Ribbon Program can reduce higher education costs for veterans.
If you're a veteran of the U.S. military with three years of active duty that began after 9/11, the new Yellow Ribbon Program can reduce your higher education costs.
The Yellow Ribbon Program features dollar-for-dollar matching between universities and the federal government in order to give veterans more education options, including private liberal arts colleges.
For example, as an official Yellow Ribbon Program Partner designated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the University of Redlands awards qualifying student veterans up to $5,000 per year ($10,000 per year with VA match) to help offset tuition expenses, or the cost of books and other educational supplies that meet Title 38’s definition of a reportable fee. And that makes the Yellow Ribbon Program a golden opportunity for veterans.
