David Griswold holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Redlands and a Master of Music from the Mannes College of Music, where he studied with internationally renowned pianist Diane Walsh. He has also studied with Everett Swank, Louanne Long, and Sheldon Steinberg. He has earned many prestigious awards in numerous competitions in both classical and jazz styles, including the Internatinoal Recording Competition, the Carmel Music Society Competition, and the Music Teacher's Association of California Concerto Contest. He has performed as soloist with such ensembles as the Yorba Linda Pops Orchestra, the La Mirada Symphony and the Redlands Symphony. He is currently on the faculty at the University of Redlands School of Music and Community School of Music and the Arts, and performs regularly throughout Southern California.
