Scholarships

All applicants are automatically considered for a merit-based music scholarship upon completion of the application and audition process.  No additional application is necessary.

Renewal Policy: Academic good standing with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA with requirement of participation in a major conducted ensemble and private or group instruction on your instrument/voice.

There are other non-music scholarships and talent awards available through the University.  For information regarding tuition, scholarships and aid please visit the Student Financial Services website.

*TRANSFER STUDENTS: If you are receiving a scholarship from your current school, you must submit the Scholarship Release Form before we can consider you for a music scholarship at the University of Redlands.


There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
