The Best of All Possible Worlds

Heidi Buesing, Second Grade Teacher, Structured English Immersion Classroom, San Bernardino, California

For alumna Heidi Buesing, the School of Education proved to be the best possible choice.

Transcript of the video interview:

"I can't say enough about the convenience of the Redlands teaching credential program. The classes worked well with my schedule. Parking is always available and you can get around campus easily. The staff and faculty are welcoming and helpful. The classes are great—I learned so much from the faculty members who brought their experiences into our classroom. Because I've had some years of teaching experience, both in the U.S. and abroad, I was urged to contribute my ideas and experiences to our classroom discussions. If you're going to go back to school to get your teaching credential, go to Redlands."

There are more than 1,700 trees on the University of Redlands campus.

In April 2010, it was designated a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. Redlands is among just three other colleges or universities in California to receive this designation.
