Academics

Redlands

Located on the historic University of Redlands campus, the School of Education is a leader in preparing teachers, counselors and administrators for schools within our communities.

We are dedicated to the dual goals of academic excellence and educational justice. This means that our students receive the finest preparation to become school leaders--leaders who know how to facilitate success for all students.

Along with a teacher preparation program that has prepared teachers since 1924, we offer master's degrees and credentials in curriculum and instruction, counseling, educational administration and higher education. In 2006, we began a doctoral program to prepare school leaders to bring about the changes needed to improve education for all students.

Our students receive personal attention from outstanding full-time faculty, seasoned adjunct practitioners and experienced field supervisors. Our curriculum blends theory and practice and incorporates professional development and personal reflection.
