Dr. James R. Valadez was appointed the Robert A. and Mildred Peronia Naslund Endowed Dean's Chair in the School of Education on Aug. 1, 2011. Before arriving at Redlands, he served on the faculty at North Carolina State University, the University of Washington, and California Lutheran University. At California Lutheran University, he was director of the doctoral program and co-chair of the department of educational leadership.
