Prep Year is a 12-month program for students with 20-40 transferable credits who are interested in completing a bachelor’s degree program at some point. This 18-unit program is an arrangement of six business elective and general education courses. Consisting of foundation courses like business writing, business and public speaking and business computing, and subject courses like project management, human resources management and/or marketing, Prep Year provides students with a solid base to transition into a degree completion program.
Similar to the School of Business bachelor’s degree completion programs, Prep Year is scheduled one night a week at all of our Southern California campus locations. And once registered for Prep Year, students are enrolled for all the included coursework for 12-months, bypassing wait-lists or petitioning for classes.
Upon successful completion of the Prep Year program, students are eligible for admission to either the Bachelor of Science in Business or the Bachelor of Arts in Management degree completion program within the School of Business or, they can opt to transfer their credits to another institution.
Financial Aid is available for students enrolled in the program who intend to pursue admission into a degree program after Prep Year’s completion.
