Computer Support

The University of Redlands Fletcher Jones Computer Center operates the computer classrooms and laboratories at each regional center. Each center is equipped with Pentium processors that are connected to a Microsoft network, a color projector that enables students to connect their laptops for project presentations, geographic information systems software developed by Redlands-based Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) and access to scanners, CD-RW drives, the World Wide Web, which allows use of the Internet and the Armacost Library's databases and catalogs for research.

The computer center on the Redlands campus also offers high-end graphics computers, scanners, storage devices, printers and several Macintosh labs for students who prefer to use that platform. Computer Purchases Students may buy computers, hardware, software and accessories at discounted prices through the Computer Equipment Purchase Program.

He is named after Clarence Howe Thurber, University president from 1933-37.
