Weekly Community Classes

The following weekly class is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the community. You are not required to attend every week. 

University benefits eligible employees can earn 5 self-reported Healthy U points for each class they attend.

Yoga led by Mina Jain
Year-round, weekly on Tuesdays, 5:15 pm - 6:45 pm

This free class is easy, effective, and enjoyable. No experience is required.

Kriya Hatha Yoga, led by Armound Mahmoudi
Weekly on Sundays, 5:00– 6:00 pm

The main objective of this class is to introduce a student to 18 particularly effective postures which have the ability to induce a deep physical and mental relaxation. Through practicing this posture the student will also have the opportunity to heal their body from many disorders and irregularities. The postures are taught in stages and the class is meant for mix level students who have the chance to do the postures to their best abilities. 

Classes are held in the Meditation Room located in Larsen Hall, room 210.
