Emphasis: Building a Robot of Strength and Courage: Art Therapy, Adventure, and the Abstract
At the Johnston Center for Integrative studies, I am able to design my own curriculum for an emphasis in Art Therapy. The dynamic relationships that I’ve built with community members and faculty have enabled me to integrate my education in active ways: I had the opportunity to co-facilitate a course on the subject my freshman year, and have been apart of an art therapy group on Complex, the buildings we communally live and learn inside of. Being apart of this intentional community has provided me with resources, eager minds always willing to engage with my studies, and challenges to negotiate.
